This recipe tastes awesome. I am not much for spinach but I made it for my husband and then tasted it. I went back for seconds!

I made this tonight for some friends and they went absolutely nuts for this recipe. I liked it because it was very easy to prepare and you can walk into any grocery store to find the ingredients. And, let me tell you, what a beautiful aroma is given off as the crustini is baking - you start drooling before you have even seen the final product. You would have thought that you were walking into a restaurant in Italy. My guests really enjoyed the blending of flavors. They like the combination of spinach tomato and basil. What a great recipe!

This crustini was just as I expected it to be. I had read an artice on the person who created this. So clever the way she came up with the ingredients to put into this. I think that when people are under a time constraint we do tend to go into the refrigerator and make up something quickly with the ingredients we have on hand. Turning a leftover crust into the base for this savory appetizer was a great idea. I love the sweet/creamy taste from the cream cheese and the spinach and tomato go so well together. I think the part that drew me to this recipe was the pesto in the cream cheese and then the follow thru with pesto on the crust! INGENIOUS. Thank you for sharing.

As a single guy in his mid 20's, I look for recipes that are easy to make and taste good. This crustini delivered. I made it last night for some friends. It was a huge hit. The smell it gives off as it bakes is just mouth watering. In fact, we were all gathered around the oven waiting for it to come out. The smell just leads you into the wonderful flavors of the crustini. They were impressed that I made it. But, I told them how easy it was to make. Each of my friends left with the recipes. We're having it again on Saturday at one of my friend house. My compliments to the chef!

OUTSTANDING! My daughter brought 2 of these over for our Easter celebration. We had 12 adults and 6 children. It was the most perfect appetizer for our meal. Both adults and children ate it. All agreed, it was a beautiful blending of flavors. We all loved the pesto on the outside crust. How clever because if you eat it from the middle to the outside, your last bite isn't just crust. The pesto is an added flavor to the crust. CLEVER! Very easy to make! SIMPLISTICALLY AMAZING! Nice recipe!

I'm all about quick! This is really quick to make and very impressive. You CAN make an impressive appetizer without spending alot of time working on it. I found the prep time to be much shorter that listed in the recipe. The aroma this give off while baking is just amazing! Really creative use of ingredients. Absolutely AMAZING flavor in the crustini. I'm glad it uses a pie crust instead of a a thicker pizza-like crust. That would have been to much. This is very hip, very trendy, very beautiful and very good! A definite keeper.

I savored the spinach taste and flavor! The sunflower seeds added a nice crunch. The pesto add additional flavor to the crust - It was really a nice touch. The garnish gave it a nice eye appeal. Great recipe for a party. I would recommend this recipe for even a beginning cook. Very easy to follow directions. Looks as pretty as the picture.
