EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Look for sweetened dried cranberries in the produce, bulk or dried fruit section of the grocery store.

Sweet potatoes are high in vitamins A and C, and low in fat. One-half cup of sweet potatoes is comparable to one medium carrot as an excellent source of vitamin A.

Garnish a platter of sliced turkey, sweet potatoes and cranberries with thin slices of orange and fresh marjoram sprigs. Have guests ladle the pan juices from a decorative bowl.

Fantastic flavors. I made this for Thanksgiving last year and it was a huge hit!

I forgot the onions but it was still yummy. Even my husband liked it and he doesn't usually like anything with cranberries. We will make it again. By the way, I cooked it in a crockpot.

Absoutely delicious, easy and fun to make. Yes I'll try it again and I've already shared it. I love trying different recipes.

My whole family LOVED this! All of the great "fall" flavors in one pan! My 13 yr. old even requested this for Thanksgiving! Will definitely make again.

I really liked this with the changes that I made. I used a turkey drumstick and added yams along with the sweet potatoes. The yams added even more color. I enjoyed the turkey smell on Thanksgiving & had leftovers without being overwhelmed.
