Turkey and Spinach Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen crusty French dinner rolls
  • 2 teaspoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 4 tablespoons garlic-and-herbs spreadable cheese (from 6.5-oz container)
  • 4 oz thinly sliced smoked turkey
  • 8 thin slices cucumber
  • 1/4 cup thin strips red bell pepper, cut in half
  • Spinach leaves

    Heat oven to 425°F. Bake rolls as directed on bag.
  • 2
    While rolls are hot, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic salt. Cut rolls in half. Spread cut sides of each roll with 1 tablespoon spreadable cheese. Top bottom halves of rolls evenly with turkey (folding to fit), cucumber, bell pepper and spinach. Cover with top halves of rolls.

  • Other savory flavors of cream cheese, such as vegetable or onion, would be delicious in these tasty sandwiches.
