Ingredients

tablespoon vegetable oil

lb ground turkey breast

large onion, chopped (1 cup)

cans (14.5 oz each) Muir Glen™ organic diced tomatoes, undrained

can (15 to 16 oz) chili beans in sauce, undrained
1
can (4.5 oz) Old El Paso™ chopped green chiles, drained
1/2
cup water

tablespoon sugar
2
teaspoons chili powder
1
teaspoon ground cumin
1/2
teaspoon salt
2
cups cooked brown rice

Directions

  1. 1 Spray 3- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook turkey and onion in oil 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until turkey is no longer pink; drain. In slow cooker, mix turkey mixture and remaining ingredients except rice.
  2. 2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
  3. 3 Stir rice into chili. Increase heat setting to High. Cover; cook about 15 minutes longer or until rice is hot.
