Tuna Salad Sandwiches

Salad veggies provides simple addition to this easy tuna sandwich that’s ready in 15 minutes.

Ingredients

tablespoons fat-free plain yogurt

tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise or salad dressing

can (8 oz) pineapple tidbits in juice, drained

can (6 oz) white tuna in water, drained, flaked

cup finely chopped green bell pepper

cup coarsely chopped water chestnuts

teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning

tablespoons sunflower nuts

kaiser rolls, split
  • 1 In medium bowl, mix yogurt and mayonnaise until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients except rolls.
  • 2 Fill each roll with about 1/2 cup tuna mixture. Wrap each sandwich securely with foil or plastic wrap; take with you for an on-the-go dinner.
