This recipe for tuna casserole is so easy. When I prepared it, I did not add pimentos. Instead, I added peas. Also, use whole milk because if skim milk is utilized then the mixture becomes runny. I was hesitant to use the potato chips for the topping but I did anyway. I was surprised that this gave the casserole a pretty good flavor.

This is the best tuna casserole I have ever made! I had to substitute what I had in stock, like Progresso dry bread crumbs instead of potato chips, cream of chicken and mushroom soup, no pimentos or canned mushrooms, but it was delicious! I will definitely make it again.

My whole family loves this quick, easy yet flavorful casserole. My husband loves that I add more chips to the casserole before I bake it.
