cup powdered sugar

(3-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4
cup coconut
1
egg yolk
1
(8-oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
1
(12-oz.) can Pillsbury® Grands!® Jr. Golden Layers® refrigerated biscuits
1/3
cup sugar
1/2
teaspoon cinnamon
3
tablespoons margarine or butter, melted
1/4
cup sliced almonds

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Grease large cookie sheet. In small bowl, combine powdered sugar and cream cheese; mix until smooth. Stir in coconut, egg yolk and pineapple; blend well.
  • 2 Separate dough into 10 biscuits. In another small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; mix well. Dip top and sides of each biscuit in melted margarine, then in sugar mixture. Place rolls, sugared side up, 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. With thumb, make wide indentation in center of each roll; fill with heaping tablespoonful cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with almonds.
  • 3 Bake at 375°F. for 13 to 19 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

These were easy to make and tasted so very good. So glad I had orange marmalade on hand to make these.

This makes as much or as little as want...a great thing because it is ALWAYS in high demand for the Easter season! A delicious easy sweet treat that any grandpa will go nutty over! %0d%0aI have been making this recipe for over 5 years now and have made so many variations to taste that it's perfect now!This is something you will make that everyone will want you to bring traditionally from now on! Should this be 8 oz cream cheese or 3? I haven''t seen 3 oz packages of cream cheese, but 8 oz yielded way way way too much filling. I made 2 batches out of it. Any less cheese, and it would have been too sweet....

I have made this recipe many times over the years and my family and friends just love it.most of the ingredients are readily available in my pantry.Its so simple even my grandkids can make it .
