Fifteen minutes is all you need to make these hearty barbecue pork sandwiches with a crown of pineapple and cheese.

6
sesame seed-topped sandwich buns, split
3

6
slices drained canned pineapple
6
thin rings green bell pepper
6
slices (1 oz each) Monterey Jack cheese

Steps

  • 1 Set oven control to broil. On ungreased cookie sheet, place bun halves, cut side up. Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 2 Divide warm barbecue sauce with pork evenly onto bottom halves of buns. Top each with pineapple, bell pepper and cheese.
  • 3 Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted and begins to turn golden. Remove from cookie sheet; cover with top halves of buns.
