Dinner ready in 10 minutes! Served these broiled sandwiches filled with tomato, bacon and provolone cheese. Perfect if you love Italian cuisine.

Ingredients

  • 2 bagels, split
  • 4 slices Canadian bacon
  • 1 large tomato, cut into 4 slices
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 4 slices provolone cheese

Steps

  • 1
    Top each bagel half with Canadian bacon and tomato slice; sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Top each with cheese slice. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. If desired, sprinkle with chopped fresh basil or oregano.

    Assemble the sandwiches except for the cheese and place them on a microwave-safe plate that has been lined with a paper towel. Microwave on HIGH for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Top each sandwich with a slice of cheese Microwave on HIGH for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until the cheese melts.
