this was really good, fast and easy. for those non crab lovers out there, you can omit the crab from your portion, cause it's not added til the end. also, instead of the chiles i used tabasco for the extra bite! nice, warm & cozy for fall!

I served this bisque last night at a birthday dinner for my Mom. I was unsure as to how it could be so simple and get almost 4 stars! Well I give it 10 stars!!! My Mom thought I spent all day making it. All my guests loved it and asked for a copy of it. I really hated to give up my secret. No one could believe it started with a CAN of soup and was actually prepared while they were eating the appetizers!

Easy recipe. I doubled the recipe and used a little less cream to make it a lower calorie recipe. It was delicious!!!

Wow, what a great recipe, this soup is yummy! I wasn't sure how it would taste with the green chiles, but it adds a great flavor. I used fresh crab and added two pinches of cayenne pepper. I tripled the recipe and stirred the crab into the pot while it was simmering. It tastes even better the second day after the flavors have had a chance to combine. I'm so glad I found this recipe, now I don't have to wait until I go out to eat to enjoy a delicious crab bisque. And I'm not spending $6 a bowl either!

I make this soup every 2 weeks. It is good, filling, and fast to make. I use the crab that comes in a vacummed package to make it a little easier @ lunch.
