Tomato and Garlic-Sauced Pasta

Ingredients

oz uncooked fettuccine

tablespoon vegetable oil

cloves garlic, finely chopped

cans (14.5 oz each) Italian-style stewed tomatoes, undrained

Directions

  1. 1 Cook fettuccine to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; cover to keep warm.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, in 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat until hot. Add garlic; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until tender. Stir in tomatoes; simmer 10 to 14 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  3. 3 To serve, place fettuccine on serving platter; top with tomato sauce. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
