Tomato and cheese provide a simple addition to this no-fuss pasta side dish that's ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) Italian-style tomato sauce
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1 package (7 oz) small pasta shells
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (3 oz)

Steps

    In 8-inch skillet, mix tomato sauce, water, pasta and onion. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Sprinkle cheese on top. Cover; cook 1 minute longer or until cheese is melted.
