These little cookies are wonderful! They were an absolute hit at a youth party we had 2 years ago. Everyone thought they were absolutely adorable & tasty too. The candy corn doesn't overload your palate like I first thought it would. They actually blend in quite well & don't make it more difficult to bite into either. I live in a fairly small town, so I wasn't able to find the miniature baking bits like the recipe calls for to make the eyes. All I did was substitute them for green or blue icing which came out just as cute. There's a lot of time involved in the detail if you're making a lot.

This is such a fun cookie!!!! I also made these using a large leaf cookie cutter and it really gave the "turkey" even more character.

I made these last Thanksgiving. They were easy to make and everybody enjoyed them. I would definitely recommend the recipe.

Very cute and fun, but not worth the work if you aren't making them with kids.

I have been making this cookie with my grandchildren for several years. The oldest is now almost 8 but we started when he was 3. They all love decorating the cookies and sneaking a few candy corns in the process! This year, rather than having a big tub of cake frosting left over, I used a tube of orange decorators icing to secure the candy corn. It worked fine. Also, since we were not home and were pressed for time, I cheated and used pre-baked sugar cookies (one package of Pepperidge Farms were enough - 8 large cookies). Sorry, Pillsbury!

This was a fun recipe to make, and does taske good. In the interest of keeping ingredient costs down, next time I would just use the orange icing to hold on the candy corn, (there was LOTS left over) and forego the black decorator gel unless an adult was using it, because it tends to blob and run down over the side of the m & m when an 8 year old does it!
