I made these cookies the night before thanksgiving day.... everyone thought they were too cute. When I was decorating them my husband came in and made a couple of turkey face variations... which added an extra kick. Super fun to make and eat. I used melting chocolate instead of chocolate icing... and gel for the eyes instead of candies. worked great but the gel never dried so they were hard to store.

These cookies are now a tradition at our house. They are great for little and big children who are not interested in pies or cakes.

My grandkids loved doing this. With the weather being cold and no school the kids had alot of fun. This is so much fun for even their mother and I. Great idea!
