(15.5-oz.) cans great northern beans, drained, rinsed

(15-oz.) cans black beans, drained, rinsed

cup finely chopped onion

cup firmly packed brown sugar

cup barbecue sauce

tablespoons prepared mustard

tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

teaspoons chili powder

teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Directions

  1. 1 Cook bacon in large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet; drain on paper towels.
  2. 2 In 4 to 5-quart slow cooker, combine all remaining ingredients; mix gently. Crumble bacon; sprinkle over bean mixture.
  3. 3 Cover; cook on low setting for 4 to 6 hours.
