Ingredients

1/4: cup butter, softened

2: tablespoons finely chopped precooked bacon

2: tablespoons chopped fresh chives

1/8: teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

4: (6-oz.) beef tenderloin steaks

1/2: teaspoon garlic-pepper blend

1/4: teaspoon salt

Directions

1 Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, combine butter, bacon, chives and ground red pepper; mix well. Refrigerate until serving time.
2 Sprinkle both sides of each steak with garlic-pepper blend and salt.
3 When grill is heated, place steaks on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until of desired doneness, turning once or twice. Serve steaks topped with butter mixture.
