I have the same question - do you add the dry ranch dressing mix along with the taco seasoning?

I have a question...for the ones that are adding dry ranch dressing, are you adding that plus the taco seasoning?

Awesome recipe...i cant get enough taco soup....just add a can of rotel tomatoes, pkg ranch dressing, and add a can of beans to it....Also i serve over corn chips and dabble some sour cream and cheese on top! Yummy!

I also used Rotel and Ranch dressing, and 1 can of pinto beans, 1 can light red kidney beans, and instead of ground beef, I used cubed steak. delicious.

I also use the spicy taco seasoning & hot Rotel to kick it up a notch!

I make this soup often, but use Rotel tomatoes w/green chiles, kidney beans, pinto beans & dry ranch dressing...my husband never turns it down! We may eat it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is also so filling.

There are few things I ever make twice, but this has become a staple. My husband calls it chili and asks for it often. Most of the time I make it with turkey and every time I add a can of black beans and a can of dark kidney beans. It is also delicious with fritos piled on with the cheese at the end.

This was good, my husband thought it needed more flavor though. So I added a few jalapenos and some velveeta cheese to it. I'll be making this again.
