pound ground beef
1
sm bag of shredded mild cheddar
1
can of Rosarita refried beans
Two large packs of pillsbury cressant buttery rolls
i pizza stone
i pack of taco season like McCormicks mild

  • 1 Brown the hamburger meat.
  • 2 Drain the fat.
  • 3 add one taco season pack and cook as instructed
  • 4 open the cressant dough roll
  • 5 Place the cressant dough on the pizza stone
  • 6 with the square end on the stone towards the middle. place in a circle.
  • 7 Once the cressent dough is on the stone and pressed together it will look like a sun wiht 16 points.
  • 8 It will take two packs of cressant dough for this step.
  • 9 spread the refried beans on the dough spoon taco meat over the beens
  • 10 then sprinkle a layer of cheese over it all.
  • 11 Now fold the tips of the dough over the top of the ingrediants and
  • 12 tuck under in the center of the ring.
  • 13 bake in oven at 375 until dark golden brown
  • 14 take out and let stand for 5 minutes and serve

It cut my off ... oops ... Start adding in your ingredients once the ring has been formed. After cooking, add your assorted taco condiments into the open ring in the middle to help yourself when serving, such as sour cream, diced onion, black olives, shredded lettuce, taco sauce or salsa ... Whatever strikes your fancy! This is awesome and oh so delicious! You have to try it! You can find the recipe and picture on grouprecipes.com and search taco ring! Hope this helps!

The sun shape is actually easy to make. You just place your crescent rolls in a ring shape with the points of the rolls toward the outside of the pan. You may want to hang them off a little bit depending on the size pan or stone you are using. I've made this myself, and I used a regular pizza pan sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray. The inside of your ring should be the longest edge of the crescent roll, and they should overlap each other. You want them to rise together to make a nice fluffy looking ring when you're done. I have not yet made this, but did get the chance to eat this. I am also interested in making this. I did locate some pictures on google image that appear to be very helpful
