Ingredients

lb boneless beef round steak, 3/4 inch thick, trimmed of fat, cut into 6 serving pieces

teaspoon peppered seasoned salt

to 8 small red potatoes (about 1 1/4 lb), cut into quarters
1 1/2
cups ready-to-eat baby-cut carrots

medium onion, sliced
1
can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano, undrained

jar (12 oz) beef gravy

Directions

  1. 1 Spray 12-inch skillet with cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat until hot. Sprinkle beef with peppered seasoned salt; place in skillet. Cook about 8 minutes or until browned, turning once.
  2. 2 In 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker, layer potatoes, carrots, beef and onion. In small bowl, mix tomatoes and gravy. Spoon over beef and vegetables.
  3. 3 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 7 to 9 hours.
