Sweet 'N' Hot Pepper Pinwheels

Ingredients

1 - Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations® Refrigerated Flaky Dough Sheet 8 oz
1
TBSP. Butter, melted
1/4	cup
Pecans, finely chopped
4oz. Cream Cheese (half of 8 oz. package), softened
1/4	cup
Hot Pepper Jelly

  • 1 Preheat oven to 375°. Spray large cookie sheet with cooking spray. Unroll dough onto work surface. Press into a 12x8-inch rectangle. Brush top of dough with melted butter. Sprinkle the pecans evenly over the top and press them lightly into the dough. Cut into eight squares and place nut side down on cookie sheet.
  • 2 Spoon 1 Tablespoon cream cheese into center of each square. Top each with 1/2 Tablespoon hot pepper jelly each. Make a diagonal cut from each corner of the square to within a 1/4-inch of filling. Fold every other point toward center, overlapping points and pinch to seal.
  • 3 Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

If you are not a fan of heat, mild pepper jelly can be used instead.
