This recipe was fantastic! My fiancee is not a fan of nuts, so I left them out. I also had on hand a new kind of butter that is infused with cinnamon & sugar, so I used that in this recipe. Turned out great. I asked my fiancee if he wanted to bring some to work, and he said NO! He wanted to save them all for us. Will absolutely make this recipe again, maybe even next week!

O.M.G.!!!!!! This was fabulous!!! I wasn't a big cheese cake fan,but this changed my mind. I was going to give some to the in-laws,but my husband and I ate it all, except for a couple pieces I gave my neighbor. She raved about it and I gave her the recipe. Can't wait to make it again...thanks.

You can also use a pastry sheet for the bottom and top which I find is much easier to use than the cresent rolls!

I have been making this for years - given this recipe by a work friend - she called it Cheese Danish. I've changed it to peppermint and vanilla for the holidays - 1/4 teaspoon each. And used red sugar with cinnamon for the top. It freezes well and is good for making ahead.

This is a really good recipe and it's also very versatile. My family really enjoys this recipe but they like it better when I add a can of pie filling on top of the cream cheese. I also use the butter crescent rolls rather than the original. We like a more dense cheese cake filling so I add 2 eggs yolks instead of the 1 egg. Another thing I do is I bake the bottom layer of the crescent rolls 3-5mins, let it cool then follow the rest of instructions. Great recipe!

My Mom made this a few times, the first time, she didn't have 2 pkg cr cheese, so she cut the sugar in half and still added the one egg yolk. SOO GOOD!
The next time she made my hubby and boys asked what was different. It was made according to the directions this time. They and I prefer the way my Mom made the first time.
So in the filling, I'll add an extra egg yolk to match the proportions of Mom's first batch.

I made this for dessert last night. It was my second or third time to make it but the first time my daughter had ever tried it and all she said was "I don't know what you call this but--'OH MY GOSH!'"...It has definitely earned a page in my "FAVORITES" cookbook! Thanks Pillsbury!

Great recipe! Easy and quick. I used a larger pan and made 50% more. I just DIDN'T increase the amount of nut and brown sugar topping. Also, any kind of nut is great. I only had almonds so that is what I used.

LOVE this one. I take it to all my functions and I am the talk of the party. I did cut back on the brown sugar as it gets to be a little on the sweet side and leaves your belly ache when you eat too much... So I cut back on the sugar... lol I wanted to be able to eat more. he he
