Ingredients

Meatloaf

lb. lean ground beef

lb. lean ground pork
1/2
cup Progresso™ Plain Bread Crumbs
1/4
cup purchased sweet-and-sour sauce

tablespoon instant minced onion
1/2
teaspoon garlic-pepper blend
1/4
teaspoon salt

Topping

tablespoons purchased sweet-and-sour sauce
3
or 4 green or red bell pepper rings
3
or 4 drained canned pineapple slices

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 350ºF. Beat egg in large bowl. Add all remaining meatloaf ingredients; mix well. Press mixture firmly in ungreased 8x4-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350ºF. for 40 minutes.
  2. 2 Remove meatloaf from oven. Spread about 3 tablespoons sweet-and-sour sauce over loaf. Arrange bell pepper rings and pineapple slices over sauce. Brush with remaining tablespoon sauce.
  3. 3 Return to oven; bake an additional 25 to 30 minutes or until meatloaf is thoroughly cooked in center and meat thermometer registers 160ºF. Cover with foil; let stand 5 minutes before cutting meatloaf into slices.
