Sweet-and-Saucy Ham Sandwiches

Ingredients

lb cooked smoked ham, ground (4 cups)

cup packed brown sugar

cup Dijon mustard

cup chopped green bell pepper

can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained

burger buns, split
  • 1 In 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients except buns.
  • 2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 3 to 4 hours.
  • 3 Remove cover from slow cooker. Increase heat setting to High; cook, uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes longer or until desired consistency.
  • 4 To serve, stir ham mixture well; spoon into buns.
