Super-Simple Sloppy Joes

Think outside the bun. Buttermilk biscuits make a tasty base for traditional joes.

Ingredients

can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

lb lean ground beef
1/2
cup chopped green bell pepper

small onion, chopped
1
can (10 3/4 oz) condensed tomato soup
1/4 cup water
1 1/4
teaspoons chili powder
1/8
to 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Bake biscuits as directed on can.
  • 2 Meanwhile, in large skillet, cook ground beef, bell pepper and onion over medium-high heat until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Cover; simmer 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  • 3 To serve, split warm biscuits. Spoon beef mixture into biscuits.
