lb. ground beef

cup chopped onion

(14 1/2-oz.) can cut green beans, drained

(8-oz.) cans tomato sauce

teaspoon dried basil leaves

teaspoon pepper

(7.5-oz.) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
4
oz. Cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (1 cup)

tablespoons margarine or butter, melted
1
tablespoon sesame seed

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 375°F. In 10-inch ovenproof skillet, brown ground beef and onion until beef is thoroughly cooked. Drain. Add green beans, tomato sauce, basil and pepper; mix well. Simmer while preparing biscuits.
  2. 2 Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Cut hole in center of each biscuit. Fold cheese cubes into hot meat mixture. Pull edges of biscuit rings to form oval; place around outer edge of skillet. Place biscuit holes in center of skillet. Brush biscuit pieces with melted margarine; sprinkle with sesame seed.
  3. 3 Bake at 375°F. for 23 to 28 minutes or until golden brown.
