I haven't made this yet, but I am thinking that I will bake one of the cookies in a springform pan and then layer everything in that pan after the cookies are cooled. That way it will all stay intact and will be easier to cut to serve.

why not try a pizza cutter to cut the cookie dough and cut it while it is still fairly warm, and then assemble the dessert on plates.

I was wondering the same thing....something tells me it would squish all over when cut!

My family loves this shortcake, especially my granddaughter. I don't use the whipping cream though. I just use a whipped topping like CoolWhip. Tastes just as great, I just can't seem to get the whipping cream to work. Anyway, it is great !!!!
