Took to a potluck where the sauce would have been hard to handle, so put a little dollup of sauce with the cheese and pepperoni and it turned out great. They loved them!

Has anyone tried freezing them and reheating? Would love to keep things like this in the freezer for quick snacks!

Love this recipe!!! I make this for my teenage son, and if you know anything about boys, they will eat anything in sight!!! I make a few adjustments -- I use 2 slices of pepperoni, and a larger cut of mozzerella cheese.

Well, I "tried" to unroll this PIZZA DOUGH, and follow directions; perhaps it ws due to a hot 85 degree house, hot outside. It went everywhere, so I just pushed the dough together, cut it lengthwise, and 3 cuts width, making 8 rolls. Then I added, cheese, topped wtih other agreements, baked 18 minutes, checking it often. All in all, they did NOT look anything like these pretty roll ups, but they were very delicious! Just too funny, what we will endeavour in the kitchens, making meals good, and adding different items to our meals! Helene of OKC area.

Hormel makes a thing called Mini Pepperonis. They come in a bag and can be found in the refrigerated meat section. One bag should cover this recipe and then some. Also, you can add several pieces to the batch, so you don't eat the entire pepperoni in one bite.

Fixed these for our Super Bowl Party this evening..they were very good, except that I did put a smear of pizza sauce on the crust square before adding the pepperoni and mozzarella.

I recommend that this recipe be made with the Pillsbury Thin Pizza Crusts instead of the larger Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crusts. A bit less crust makes them just perfect! (I am the original author of this recipe from the 2000 Bake-Off!) Be sure to use EVOO as your oil, too. Enjoy...this is a great Super Bowl recipe. Ellen

I saw this and just had to try it for my family. So I made it for my sisters and my two kids and we all loved it. You just have to make sure that you dough is closed off very well. My sisters just keeps asking me when is the next time you going to make the stuff pizza again? So I'm going to be making this for a while, and keeping this with my other recipes.
