This was a very tasty recipe and very easy to make, it has gone into my saved recipes for later use.. like NEXT Thanksgiving!

This pie was great everyone loved it and thought that it was store bought. The streusel makes a nice touch to the pie. I would make it again next Thanksgiving

Made this for family Thanksgiving last week. Probably won't make again. Definitely added a minimum of 20 minutes to baking time. The streusel topping did not fair well after a couple days in the fridge - the nuts seemed to absorb a lot of moisture and get an off taste to them. I'd only recommend if you think you can eat entire pie in a day or so.

this pie is amazing! I took it to a work pot luck and it was a HUGE hit. So popular that 2 co-workers asked me to make one for their Thanksgiving dinner. I doubled the topping as suggested but I also had to add an extra 15-20 mins of cook time before I added the streusel (i have an old wonky gas oven). Im planning on making this again for Christmas!

I doubled the streusel topping as well....also had to cook for about 40 mins., after spooning on the topping over pie filling.

This is a great alternative to plain ole' pumpkin pie. Everyone raves over it. I did double up the streusel topping. I also had to cook for more than 2o mins after placing the topping over pie filling. I cooked for about 40 mins. I would suggest to keep checking the pie and when a knife inserted, comes out clean...the pie is done...ENJOY!!!

@RKKy1e11: I only used one pie crust, but I did not have proper pie pan. You probably could make two pies and just pour less filling in both. If you decide to make two pies, don't forget to double up on struesel topping because recipe is only enough to cover one pie. Hopefully, this will be helpful!!

I have a question, not a review... The recipe indicated 1-box of pie crusts. Is this recipe supposed to make (2) pies?

I can't figure out how to edit my review, I just realized I put the review on the wrong Streusel Topped Pumpkin Pie...there are two recipes with the same name on this site! My bad, but they should use two different names! I baked the other one! So sorry!

I worked with ingredients I had on hand. My son wanted both a chocolate pie and a pumpkin pie. I had 2 pie shells so one of each was made. I didn't look at the recipe closely and I made this recipe for one pie instead of two. The streusel part only overflowed a little bit. I did not have cloves so I used pumpkin pie spice and I also didn't have oats on hand so I used a packet of Cinnamon Spice Quaker Instant Oatmeal. I forgot to add the pecans. My son still said this was the best pumpkin pie ever!
