This recipe came out in Pillsbury cooking contest winners' pamphlet 25 years + ago. I have never have eaten custard before, but this for dessert was great. The custard was firm and the streusel topping crunchy. I added pecans and 1teaspoon cinnamon to the topping. This summer I may try fresh ripe peaches & pears cooked lightly on the stove with 1 T. of butter instead
