EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

This dessert has delightful taste and texture. The crushed pretzels in the crust provide crunch and a salty flavor that nicely contrasts with the sweet, creamy filling and fruit topping.

Instead of strawberry, try another red-fruit pie filling such as raspberry or cherry.

Trim each serving with a small tree-shaped pretzel dipped in melted chocolate chips or candy coating. Look for candy coating at cake decorating supply stores.

This is a keeper. Everyone that taste it loves it and want the recipe

This is one that I will not make again. The pudding mixed with the sweetended condensed milk did not taste right. The salty pretzel taste also didn't mesh well with the pudding. My family gave this one a 2 out of 10.

This is the first recipe that I have tried and not liked. My crust turned out hard. I think it would have been better not baked at all. The portions were not right either. A can of strawberry pie filling is not enough to cover an entire 9X13 pan. I thought about making some adjustments, but the flavor was just not there either.
