I make this often, I use a shortcake ready pie crust which makes the pie. I do not suggest using reduced fat cool whip since it makes the pie to thin.

This recipe was SUPER easy and ABSOLUTELY DELISH!!! My 8 year old daughter and I made it together and not only was it fun, but was AMAZING once we dug in!! :-) Would HIGHLY recommend!!

My mom would always make a recipe correctly the first time. Then change it.. I skipped the crust all together and next time I think I will skip the sugar next time also.. it WAS great and will try with other fruits and jello

Cake was very yummy. The only thing I would change for next time, is I won't be adding extra sugar as it was a little too sweet.

Really good and really pretty. The crust doesn't do justice to the filling though.

Got RAVE reviews from the 7 people who ate it, ranging in age from 3 to 83. It was so easy to make, and has a lovely presentation. The hardest part was setting the jello correctly, but even then it was fine. Definitely will make this again and again.

These pie was a hit in my house. My husband keeps say its great and i need to make it again. the only think i say if you make this pie keep in mind that it should be eaten next 24 hours, by the next day around the time i made the pie it started to get watery... but this pie is for sure in my recipe book
