: 2lbs. Frozen Whole Strawberries

2: cans Pillsbury Big Flaky Crescent Rolls

2: cups water

1: cup sugar

2: tablespoons cornstarch

2: tablespoons strawberry preserves

Directions

1 Roll out 1 can of crescent roll dough and spread 1/2 of frozen strawberries on top.
2 Roll up strawberries in crescent roll dough and slice into 6 even slices. Do the same with second roll of crescent roll dough and other half of strawberries. Place in 9 x 13 glass casserole dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. I use 1 stick of margarine cut into 1 tablespoon sections and place them in the bottom of the baking dish before placing the cobbler slices.
3 Pour 2 cups water in saucepan and add 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of strawberry jam. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring often, until liquid thickens. Pour over cobbler slices and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.
4 I have made this recipe twice and it has turned out amazing both times. Hope it works for you and that you enjoy.

I'm not sure how long to cook the sauce or how thick it should be. It was a little syrup-y when I poured it over the dough and strawberries, but when it was done cooking, it was still liquidy. I suggest using less water, maybe 1 1/2 cups or 1 1/4. I also added a cup of frozen blueberries to the sauce I think made the sauce a lot better.
