I made this dessert for a lunch club at my work and we all loved it! The almond taste adds a different touch and with fresh strawberries it was delicious. I made the mistake of making the crust in a deep dish pie plate so I had to double the recipe for the filling but it worked out nicely.

I tried this recipe and served it to my neighbours as a dessert at a BBQ.We all had the same opinion.It was not sweet enough although I added 1/2 of a cup of sugar more then it asked for in the recipe.The almond taste was totally out of the line.If it would be substituted with lemon or vanilla then the taste would be great.I love almond taste and I try to use it for everything I cook but that was digusting.I made it the next day with lemon and it was delicious.
