This was the best pie, we have had in a long time! We had company, there was four of us and we ate the whole pie that night. It was SOOOOOOOOO easy! The only changes I made was I did not add the 1 tablespoon of shorting to the chocolate chips, if you melt them at 1/2 power in your microwave for a few seconds at a time they melt just perfect and I didn't stand my stawberries up, I sliced them to cover the whole pie and place them so it was easy to cut!

Excellent, made this pie for Easter & everyone loved it, I doubled the receipe & brushed the strawberries with melted strawberry jam & used vanilla extract. Will make again, so easy & delicious.

Mouth-watering and delicious. Strawberries are my get through the cold-winter-happy food.Lots of vitamin C in Strawberries. One serving gives you 45% of your daily requirement of VITAMIN C.

I have made this 20 plus time for both personal and work functions everywhere I take it, My friends and family love it they believe I slave over it for hours and of course I fail to tell them the difference, lol this has been a hit for me at multiple work meetings and family get togethers as well as just for after dinner dessert and birthday gatherings. The best part is we use fresh Strawberries from our own garden and the Almond flavor is the key. Thanks so much Pillsbury.

I have made this pie twice and am about to make it again. It is SO delicious! The almond extract adds just the perfect tough to the light cream taste, and of course you can't go wrong with strawberries and chocolate. I also like the taste of the Pillsbury refrigerated crust. I think this my absolute favorite dessert! Thanks so much for the recipe!
