Spicy Maple Bacon

Ingredients

bamboo skewers

tablespoons Sriracha sauce

tablespoons real maple or maple-flavored syrup

slices thick-sliced bacon
Chopped green onions, if desired

Directions

  1. 1 Soak bamboo skewers in water at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2 Heat oven to 400°F. Place wire cooling rack in 15x10x1-inch pan.
  3. 3 In small bowl, stir together Sriracha sauce and syrup. Thread 1 bacon slice on each skewer; place on rack in pan. Brush both sides of bacon with sauce mixture.
  4. 4 Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until bacon is golden brown and crispy. Garnish with onions.
