I made this for dinner tonight... was gr8 hit. I used leftover pot roast gravy, added a little ketchup, worchestire sauce, a couple dashes of chili powder and sprinkled cheddar cheese on top of potatos. Yummy!

I've made w/using Boxed beef broth, and dry gravy mixture(any one is fine but I tend 2 use most products made by Knorrs(?). this was really good, also one other time We didn't have gravy so I used creamed corn-Everyone liked it best!
Alos since NO-one will sit anymore 4 All-Hallows-Eve, I have made the mixture of meat w/veggies, and the Potato as a covering using corm meal and BAKING-this way All can "eat-on-the-go". And while I still can get them to Eat-first...B4 going "out4Treats" They do seem 2 see it helps them NOT get queezie fm all the candy they might take-in B4 the MANDATED "DO-NOT-EAT

I had to use the stores brad of canned tomatos. We didn't like the flavor. Need to keep to the rule to follow recipe exactly, if you want sucess.

I actually made this recipe with a layer of cresent rolls at the bottom and instead of piling up the potatoes I smoothed them out before baking...it turned out great!!

This recipe is a Halloween tradition at our house. It's so quick to throw together and easy to reheat. I learned a long time ago not to expect anyone to sit down to dinner on Halloween!!
