Apple Crisp

medium tart apples, chopped

cup granulated sugar
1/4
cup packed brown sugar

teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2
cup butterscotch-flavored schnapps
3/4
cup Pillsbury™ refrigerated sugar cookie dough (from a roll)

cup Cascadian Farm® organic vanilla almond crunch granola

Topping

cup heavy whipping cream
1
tablespoon butterscotch-flavored schnapps
1
tablespoon powdered sugar

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 375ºF. Spray bottom only of 8-inch square pan with cooking spray.
  2. 2 In large bowl, toss apples, sugars, 1/2 cup schnapps and the cinnamon. Spread evenly in pan.
  3. 3 In small bowl, mix cookie dough and granola until crumbly. Spread over apples.
  4. 4 Bake 40 minutes.
  5. 5 In chilled small bowl, beat topping ingredients with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form.
  6. 6 To serve, spoon apple crisp into small drinking glasses. Top each with whipped cream and if desired, sprinkle with additional granola. Serve immediately.
