This recipe looks promising, but I wanted to make them as traditional pancakes instead of as spider webs. Sadly, the batter was much too thick, and the pancakes remained uncooked/soggy on the inside. We tried them but ended up not eating them. With that said, they were very tasty -- so I can imagine that the spider web version would be good. But I do not recommend adapting the shape to make traditional pancakes. I wish the recipe had included instructions for doing so.
