Spicy Popcorn and Peanuts

Besides being an irresistible party snack, the popcorn-peanut mixture also makes a thoughtful gift for a teacher or co-worker. Package it in a wide-mouthed glass jar, and tie a square of gingham around the lid with a length of raffia.

  • 1 Heat oven to 250°F. In 13x9-inch pan, combine popcorn and peanuts. In small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; blend well. Drizzle evenly over popcorn mixture; toss to coat.
  • 2 Bake at 250°F. for 30 minutes, stirring once or twice. Cool 30 minutes or until completely cooled. Store in tightly covered container.
