I really wanted to like this recipe because the idea of bran in meatballs seemed liked a great idea. However, these meatballs were terrible. They had no flavor other than the All Bran and had an orange tint from the coloring of the cereal. I even added cayenne and onion to the meatball mixture and it still tasted like cardboard.

I have not made these because if the Trans Fat, my husband cannot have any trans fat. Does anyone have an idea with "no Trans Fat"?

Yum! Less fuss and less fat if you bake them at 400 for 15 minutes on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray. And if you double the recipe or otherwise have extras, freeze on a baking sheet, then store them in a freezer bag or reusable container for another day.

There is something so comforting about meatballs. I did make these with a combination of ground turkey and chicken, which my family prefers. I like the idea of the added fiber with the bran cereal.
