I made this tonight....added diced potatoes to the pan and sauteed before adding chorizo....also added a can of rotel and used the birdseye steamfresh southwest corn instead of the canned corn. I also couldnt find the seamless cresent dough, so I just pressed together the regular cresent dough...

To make this more dinner like, I added a package of Taco Seasoning to the meat, doubled the recipe and put it in a lasagna pan. I also changed the green onions to regular and sauteed some onion with the meat, then sauteed some onion, green and red pepper to add to the egg mixture. It was a hit.

I have made this recipe four different times and everyone has enjoyed it very much. I was never able to find in my stores the Pillsbury creation sheet dough so I used one time pizza crust and at another time used pie crust, both were delicious.

I made it and my family loved it. I will make it again. I added sour cream and salsa to my meat mixture though.

Thank you!!!! I love this recipe...not complicated, easy to find ingredients & way easier to make than Tamale Pie which we also love! I sprinkled a handful of Juan's crushed corn chips over the crescent top before baking....to add a little crunch & more Mexi flavor. Happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone!

This recipe is not meant to be gourmet but as a quick, simple and delectable dish, I think it is outstanding.

I loved this recipe. It was very similar to a brunch recipe that Post has but uses less eggs. :) I also liked how you can control the amount of spicyness. This could be used as a brunch recipe or a "regular" meal recipe.

To the person who gave the RECIPE a BAD rating because they don't like the way the website is set up: it is not fair to the person that created the recipe for you to show your dislike of a site on their rating. I haven't tried the recipe, but just because of the idiot to which I am referring - I am giving it 5 stars.

I hate the way your 'rate it - review it' works. Rate it should mean that you are asking US to rate it. 'Review it' should say 'Previous Reviews' that we can actually click on and read. What is the point of the way you do the (previous) reviews if we can't easily open and actually read the reviews?
Please consider this, and reply.
thanks, Rose
