This cookie didn't taste good at all. The cayenne red pepper put such an awful aftertaste into these that I don't know if I'll make them again. Possibly, I might try to make them without the cayenne pepper. I wasted too many good ingredients in this recipe.

My whole family loved this recipe. It was easy to make and my grandchildren enjoyed helping me to do it. My husband loved the coffee flavor. This is a regular on my list.

This recipe has LOTS of potential...but the different spices are a little overwhelming. You can still taste the cloves and cayenne pepper AFTER you've eaten it. I may try this one again, but leave out the cloves and the coffee granules - with an espresso bean in it, that was plenty for me, mocha taste-wise. You can't even taste the chocolate chips in it because everything else is so overwhelming.

The excellent blend of spices and coffee certainly upgrade the base Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough into an adult class cookie! I used a smaller scoup so that I get about 30 cookies in each batch. Very yummy and they get eaten so fast, I am lucky if I get to eat more than one for myself! I'll be baking another batch soon! Easy and quick, this is an "adult cookie" in my opinion. Like a biscotti would be, (not as tempting to a child).
I LOVED it! I made them smaller, 40 cookies. they are not terribly sweet and have a fantastic spicy bite. There is however a good mix of sweet and spice. The nuts are a good addition for texture and taste. Very nice. would definitely recommend them and will surely make them again!
