I made a fair numebr of adjustments to this recipe...but it still came out a little flat for my liking. Maybe I'm just picky. It wasn't awful by any means, just not quite excellent enough to warrant a 5 star rating.
Anyhow, I used the "tempura battered" version of the frozen chicken nuggets to make sure it had the right feel to it and they were easy enough to make, you just bake them. The grocery store I went to doesn't sell the green giant meal starters, so I opted for a bag of the frozen "stir fry" vegtables instead. Then I put the chicken in the pan with the vegetables to keep them hot.

You have to buy the right chicken nuggets for this recipe to truly taste like sweet and sour chicken.

This recipe is fabulous however, I warn other chefs that the Green Giant create a meal products are no longer carried in my grocery store. The helpful manager told me that they may still carry it at some Walmarts. Just be careful because that is the most crucial element to the recipe and it may be impossible to find in your area.
