Golly, this is totally delicious. Used our organic home grown tomatoes instead of the canned ones. It was one of the best tasting spaghetti dishes I've made. Served it with Pillsbury's natural crusty french bread and with a bowl of fine shredded Italian cheese on the side.

Wish I could find the Pillsbury breads in my local WalMart. At first I could buy the Italian Bread by Pillsbury, then they discontinued carrying it. Then I was buying the bread sticks and then they stopped carrying it also. What gives????? MLB

Would let the garlic, basil, and red pepper infuse in the oil for a little longer, and use only 1 can (14.5 oz) of tomatoes!

Definitely going to try this. Sounds yummy. However, I am definitely going to keep some of the garlic and basil IN. To strain it all out is a sin, IMHO!!
