Spaghetti with Red Clam Sauce

oz. uncooked spaghetti

teaspoons olive oil

medium onion, chopped

garlic cloves, minced

(14.5-oz.) can no-salt-added whole tomatoes, undrained, cut up

(14.5-oz.) can no-salt-added stewed tomatoes, undrained
1
(6 1/2-oz.) can minced clams, drained, reserving liquid

teaspoons dried Italian seasoning

pitted medium ripe olives, halved
  • 1 Cook spaghetti to desired doneness as directed on package.
  • 2 Meanwhile, heat oil in large nonstick saucepan over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir 4 minutes.
  • 3 Stir in tomatoes, reserved clam liquid, Italian seasoning and salt. Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes.
  • 4 Drain spaghetti. Stir clams and olives into sauce. Serve sauce over spaghetti.
