Ingredients

MEATBALLS

lb. ground beef
1
lb. bulk mild Italian sausage
1/4
cup Italian-style dry bread crumbs

egg, beaten

SPAGHETTI

lb. uncooked spaghetti, broken into fourths
1/2
cup chopped green onions
1
(30-oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1
(4 1/2-oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4
to 1/2 cup shredded fresh Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, combine all meatball ingredients; mix well. Shape into 24 (1 1/2-inch) meatballs. Place in ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish.
  2. 2 Bake at 350°F. for 30 to 35 minutes or until no longer pink. Remove meatballs from baking dish; set aside. Drain dish.
  3. 3 Meanwhile, cook spaghetti to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain.
  4. 4 Place spaghetti in same baking dish. Stir in onions, spaghetti sauce and mushrooms. Top with cooked meatballs. Cover with foil.
  5. 5 Bake at 350°F. for 45 to 50 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover; let stand 5 minutes before serving.
