My family loved it. However, I had Hot Salsa on hand and used it instead of Mild like the recipe called for. DON'T use Hot, cooking the salsa only intensifies the heat level. I too added 2 Tbs. of cornstarch to the milk before adding it to the chowder. Will definitely make again using Mild Salsa.

Loved this recipe!! Make sure you closely follow the step for adding the milk. I accidentally heated it too high and for too long after I added the milk. The milk broke down, but it still tasted really good.

I made this recipe last night for my family full of picky eaters. The soup was really good, only a few complaints from the crowd which is better than normal! I did alter the recipe a little, I like soup to have a thicker consistency so I added some cornstarch to thicken a little and a little garlic salt. I really liked it and will make it again.

Super quick, SUPER delicious! I used fresh corn and chopped green onions, as I didn't have the frozen vegetable mixture or fresh peppers. Only other change I'd make is to double the recipe next time!

This is a simple and quick recipe that the whole family will love. I make it all the time and it has become a favorite for my family. The only change I make is I use medium salsa by Pace.

This is one of my all time favorite Pillsbury recipes. I have cooked it so many times I have it memorized. I have served it for many people and they have all liked it (except my son- he's 7 and not into vegetables).
