Corn Relish

cup chopped tomatoes

cup chopped avocados

(11-oz.) can Green Giant® SteamCrisp® Niblets® Whole Kernel Sweet Corn, drained

tablespoons chopped green onions

tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

tablespoons white vinegar

Steaks

(4 to 6-oz.) boneless beef rib eye steaks
1 1/2
teaspoons garlic-pepper blend
1 1/2
teaspoons chili powder

  • 1 In medium bowl, combine all corn relish ingredients; mix well. Cover; refrigerate until serving time.
  • 2 Rub steaks with garlic-pepper blend and chili powder; place on broiler pan. Broil 4 inches from heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until of desired doneness, turning once. Serve with corn relish.

Expert Tips

Garlic-pepper blend is a mixture of black pepper, garlic and herbs such as oregano and thyme. Chili powder consists of ground dried chiles, garlic, oregano, cumin, coriander, cloves and salt.

Make the corn relish several hours in advance; cover and refrigerate it. The vinegar in the relish will help keep the avocado from discoloring.
