cans Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations® refrigerated seamless dough sheet

cup sugar

teaspoon vanilla
1/2
cup butter, melted
1/2
cup cinnamon sugar

  • 1 Using a 9 x 13 baking pan, unroll one package of Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations® refrigerated seamless dough and line the bottom of the pan.
  • 2 Mix together the cream cheese, sugar and extract.
  • 3 Spread over the crescent rolls.
  • 4 Unroll the other can of crescent rolls and place on top of cream cheese mixture.
  • 5 Pour one stick of melted butter or margarine over the top and sprinkle with about 1/2 cup of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • 6 Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Okay I'm not going to lie I use ALL the butter it calls for and absolutely LOVE the flavor! The only thing I add is a can of apple pie filling after the cream cheese mixture ;) It is absolutely amazing!!

This sounded like an interesting recipe. I used splenda as I'm diabetic. I love lemon so I added 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice to the cheese mixture and layered some fresh blueberries on top of the cheese. I only used 2 T of butter and brushed the top crust, then sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. Next time, I will sprinkle nuts on the top! And there will be a next time!! Delicious!!

@13Kathy13 Use less butter on the top. I just brush a little melted butter and then put the cinnamon sugar on top of that. An entire stick is just way too much.

This was very easy and was DELICIOUS! I didn't use anywhere close to that much butter though. I just brushed the top with melted butter, then sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon before baking.
