I must agree with exslot, 1350 mg of sodium is definitely a restriction in preparing this recipe. Surely Pillsbury's test kitchen personnel are aware of this fact, and the medical consequences of consuming this amount of sodium, especially when the recommended daily requirement is less than 2000. I'm becoming especially disappointed with Pillsbury's recipes. They are high sodium, high calorie, and almost always contain prepackaged ingredients not readily available. I'm aware of the need for recipes that are "quick prep", but do they have to come at such high caloric and high sodium price?

I guess if you followed the recipe exactly as written it would have been "so simple", but I made a few modifications. I used 2% milk, whole-grain bread and I made my own garlicky sauce to go with the frozen veggies. (I was unable to find the Green Giant frozen pasta called out in the recipe). I sauteed 3/4 of a small white onion and a garlic clove in olive oil, and mixed frozen veggies. Took a little extra prep time, but it was worth it! The family love the recipe.
